NOTES: Spitsbergen is a true arctic wilderness 600 miles from the North Pole. A land of ice, snow, mountains and Polar Bears where much of the BBC’s Frozen Planet was filmed.

We’ll use snowmobiles to access the interior and cover distances unthinkable by the explorers of old. We’ll take you across frozen fjords, through steep sided gorges, glaciers, and vast mountain ranges. If we’re lucky, we’ll see the mighty Polar Bear, stalking a seal out on the sea ice or wandering between it’s hunting grounds

stay in some truly unique places. An atmospheric trappers’ style hotel, a twin-masted wooden ship frozen into the ice and a converted cold war radio station. Your nights will be comfortable and warm and an adventure to remember.
The leaders are all relaxed friendly people and experienced in cold weather adventure. They can teach you the skills necessary to move comfortably and easily in this epic terrain.
